GFSI - Global Food Safety Initiative - BRC - British Retail Consortium  

Hesco Inc. earned certification grades of "A” during our first British Retail Consortium (BRC) audits of our Watertown, SD and Hastings, NE facilities. BRC standards are recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), which is becoming a requirement of more and more food industry companies. Under the GFSI scheme, food producers and manufacturers are benchmarked against food safety requirements by independent licensed auditors. An "A” is the highest grade possible on the rigorous audit, which includes a comprehensive inspection of the facility's food safety production program, HACCP program, and Quality Management Systems.
